Randy and I began our love for travel over 40 years ago. After raising two beautiful daughters and exploring countless destinations across the United States as a family, we eventually felt called to venture beyond our borders. Mexico became the beginning of our journey into unique international destinations.

Over the years, we’ve travelled to many of Mexico’s vibrant cities, where we immersed ourselves in the culture, learned a bit of the language, and fell in love with the country’s marvelous beaches. The colorful traditions, stunning coastlines, and warm hospitality of the local residents kept drawing us back time and again.

Africa came to us as a wonderful surprise adventure! We were fortunate to plan a three-week journey through much of South Africa-an adventure that gave us unforgettable experiences, including, witnessing the “Big Five” in their natural habitat.

We got up close experience with Elephants, we saw cheetahs up close, and explored the beauty of Cape Town, Zimbabwe, Durban. Victoria Falls and the Zambeze River is a must as well. We enjoyed a traditional Boma Dinner , learned to play native tasted African delicacies, and even listened to roaring lines not far away, as they defended their “meal” from crocodiles. Hiking the Cape of Good Hope was a highlight, and along the we made friends who enriched our journey even more.

I was able to take a solo trip to Cuba….you will have to ask me about it. Most amazing time or giving, listening and hoping for these wonderful people.

My Grandfather was born in Eastern Italy and through a new wonderful friend was introduced to my associate in Italy, Davide Castellucci with Abruzzo Ancestors. He helped me do my family tree back to the early 1700’s and locate where my grandfather’s home was as well as introduce me to my cousins in Italy. From that experience, we have formed a “partnership” -not only to help others discover their own Italian heritage, but also to design meaningful travel adventures and experiences that bring family history to life once you arrive.
